The flow chart illustrates the procedure of designing an up-to-date landfill for household waste.
Looking from an overall perspective, there are three main stages in this process. These include constructing a landfill, followed by using it and finally producing the gases for people to use for different purposes.
The process commences with digging a huge hole in a natural rock area. Following that, we will make a drainage tank at the end of the hole before putting a clay filter and synthetic lining respectively on that hole, based on its shape. On the next stage, drainage pipes are then put on the synthetic lining into a straight row.
Once it has been constructed, the hole are used by intercept the household waste in it. Meanwhile, the waster liquid flowed in the drainage tank, it then mix with the rock in the soil around the hole. Subsequently, we set up a clay cover that fixes to the hole’s surface and put a special pipe that connect the drainage pipes and houses. During days and months, household waste changes in that hole and producing special usable gases. These gases are now ready for people to use in many purposes in human life.
