The diagram depicts the working process of a water pump using solar energy.
Overall, it is evident that this method consists of three major steps, which begins with receiving the solar radiation on a panel. After a few subsequent steps, water accumulates in a water tank and later is disseminated to the village. A significant portion of the process is operated above or on the ground whilst the water is derived from the underground bore.
Upon closer inspection, we can see that the sunlight is utilized by specialized photovoltaic cells of the solar panel initially. This results in the generation of DC power in the system. Furthermore, the energy is used by the underground bore pump located inside a well. The water level of the bore is also below the ground level.
Then through a pipe, the underground water is transferred to a tank on the ground, which fills gradually. Finally, that water is supplied to the locality.
