The diagram illustrates the process of making drinking water with the help of solar power.
Overall, the process of getting drinking water using a solar panel is multi-leveled and automated. The process is linear and shows how the underground water is pumped, then filtered and ultimately converted into the water ready for consumption, all due to the electricity transmitted by the solar panel.
The process begins with sunlight being captured by the Solar Panel and transmitted to the converter, which in its turn, transforms the energy into electricity. It is noteworthy that a pump starts working with the help of converted electricity and thus, enables the water to go up from an underground well into the water tank. Meanwhile, the wooden platform, which is a part of a chain in the described process, suits for keeping the water tank on a high level, rather higher than the underground well and the converter. Additionally, the water tank is provided with a water filter which purifies the water and turns it into the drinkable water. Finally, there is a tap on the pipe leading from the water filter to a moveable container that allows the potable water flow using gravity.
