Hydroelectric generator method depict by diagram below. This method using water flow from river to generate electricity.
There is two scenarios operation (day and night) in generate hydroelectric power station. The component in this methods include, two reservoir (high and low-level), intake, penstock, generator, reversible turbines, and powerlines.
Firstly, in the day river water flow accumulated in high-level reservoir will be transfer to low-level reservoir by intake and penstock. Generator utilize electricity using different head hydraulics form both reservoirs. And it will be distributed to power lines using national grid.
When in night, the intake will close for saving reservoir volume. Furthermore, reversible turbine will be operated by pumping water flow from low-level to high level reservoirs to fulfil capacity. And it will be stop at daytime.
All the process working on power station, in this place manage when generating electricity and turn on reversible pump for electricity production efficiency.
