The diagram illustrates the process of how energy is produced from coal.
Overall, the energy is produced by the combination of coal and oxygen, which undergo with chemical process, includes heating that results in gas. Then gases produce electricity with two turbines and separate generators.
Initially, the coal is collected through truck and oxygen is come from company, then goes to the furnace where it is mixed. There are two outlets called raw syngas and slag. However, the raw syngas is produced, which remove of CO2, mercury, and sulfur to create purified syngas.
In the final stages, flue gases and hot exhaust gases are produced, which lead to heat recovery steam generator. This is followed by steam is created and goes to steam turbine with generator that produce electricity. Similarly, gas turbine is also a part of the process to generate electricity. Thereafter, electricity is created and goes with power grid, resulting in the end product.
