The process illustrates the production of ethanol fuel, which is produced from corn.
A closer inspection at the diagram points out that there are eight main stages, commencing when corn is stored and terminating when the final product is transported. Additionally, water is added to the fourth step with a view to cooking.
Initially, producers keep corn in a particular place before being milled. It is then cooked, using water for around four hours. This stage is roughly tenfold lower in time compared to that of the next step that is fermenting. Fermenting requires a huge amount of time, forty-eight hours and therefore among three stages having time attached, it is the most time-consuming one.
Afterwards, people separate it into two categories; one is liquid and the other is solid by-product. The original liquid of ethanol is purified in five hours, then being stored again in an ideal condition. Only after being transported will the process totally end.
