The diagram illustrates the process by which fuel is manufactured out of corn in just a few simple steps.
Overall, there are 8 consecutive stages involved in the production of fuel, commencing with cultivating corn and culminating in delivering to the gas stations for usage.
Initially, the harvested corn is stored in a basement in a cubic shape. Next, it goes through the milling machine in order to be shaped into a specific form. After being cooked for 4 hours in a container with water, the cooked corn undergoes fermentation throughout 2 days, where impure ethanol and solid by-product are produced.
Once the impure ethanol have been purified from soluble and unwanted substances in 5 hours span, the pure ethanol fuel is then stored and loaded into a delivery lorry which sends the end-products to the gas station. Now, the fuel is ready to be used by car drivers.
