The diagram depicts various steps in the process of making ethanol fuel from corn.
Overall, there are eight main stages in the process. Starting when raw material are, readying to reform and ending when ethanol fuel is done and in gas station. In addition, almost steps are done by machine.
The first step occurs when corns are readying to use, they are stored in the store then corns are milled by milling machine. In the next step, water is added to the milled corns and cook that mixture for 4 hours. The last step to make ethanol is fermenting the cooked mixture of corn, It’s take 48 hours to done and this considered the longest step.
The process continues when ferment process is done and that mean the ethanol almost done, now there are 2 form of corn in the fermented mixture: liquid form which in the top and solid form which in the bottom. The solid by-product couldn’t use to make fuel, the process continues with liquid product which called ethanol, purified by purifying machine. The purified ethanol fuel is stored and delivered to gas station.
