The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing ethanol fuel from coin.
Overall, the ethanol production process involves in three main stage: harvesting,
preliminary treatment and delivery. The entire process takes place over specific timeframes, with the longest duration being the fermenting process , followed by the purification process.
The process commences with collecting and storing. Subsequently, when the harvest season starts, coin will be delivery to a milling machine after harvesting. The coin is crushed and ground finely to be a powder.
After that, the ground corn undergoes a cooking process with the addition of water for four hours to eliminate unwanted residues. Following this, the resulting substance will be left to ferment for 48 hours before solid product is separated from it in the next step, leaving only the liquid. The liquid undergoes a 5-hour purification process to resistant to bacterial attack and produce ethanol. The solid by-product is considered waste. In the penultimate step, the produced ethanol is stored before being transported to its final destination.
