Given process illustrates information on how ethanol fuel is being made from corn.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that there are four main stages of the process, including cooking, seperating, and transporting. The process is entirely machine-made.
First and foremost, initially the main product-corn- is being stored for some period of time, followed by milling sesion. In addition, water is poured into milled corn, in order to be ready to be cooked for around 4 hours. After cooking mixture of water and corn, fermentation process starts where cooked material is fermented for 2 days straight.
Subsequent to this, after 48 hours of fermentation, liquid and solid by-product are seperated from one another to make purification of ethanol which takes approximately 5 hours. Last but not least, final product called ethanol is being stored. In final stage, transportation of ethanol is being done to be utilized later on.
