The process by which ethanol fuel is manufactured by can be outlined in several steps. Overall, the process consists of three main stages, beginning with collecting corn, followed by producing the fuel, and culminating with distributing the ready material. It is also worth-mentioning that this process is a complex one, requiring many steps and machinery involvement along with human labor.
In the first stage, corn in the fields harvested, after which it is delivered to the storage. Once delivered, the corn is stored accordingly to be ready for the following steps.
In the processing stage, the grain is transferred to the factory where it is milled. Next, the powder is mixed with water to be cooked in a large machine for 4 hours. Having been cooked, the mixture undergoes the procedure of fermentation, where it is kept for 48 hours in a fermenting machine. When the scheduled time ends, the mixture is cleaned by separating the liquid from the solid before being kept for about 5 hours.
In the final stage, when the liquid is purified, the ready ethanol is sent to the storing place where the ethanol fuel is distributed to gas stations by trucks.
