The diagram illustrates the main stages involved in the production of leather goods. Overall, the process consists of eleven steps, which can be categorized into three main stages: skin drying, producing leather, and making goods. It is clear this is a complex and ongoing man-made process that mostly takes place in fabric.
In the first stage, animal skin is dried using the sun. It is then delivered to a fabric with the help of the lorry, which is followed by producing leather.
During the second stage, the leather is washed in water mixed with lime. After being soaked in this mixture, the leather is flattened with the help of special equipment. The leather is soaked in a mixture of water and vegetable matter, after which it is polished using a circular tool.
Upon completion, the polished skins are sent to another factory, where they are turned into clothes, shoes, and balls. The ready products are sold in the markets or stores.
