These pictures illustrate the process of manufacturing orange juice. The production involves several stages, starting from the delivery of fresh oranges to the factory and ending with the distribution of packaged orange juice to supermarkets.
First, fresh oranges are brought to the factory, where they are thoroughly washed. After washing, the oranges are ground. The waste solids produced during this process are fed to animals, such as cows. The ground oranges are then processed into fresh juice. At this stage, two paths can occur: first, the fresh juice can be sent directly for packaging, which is then distributed to markets; second, the fresh juice may be converted into concentrated juice by being transported in refrigerated trucks to an evaporation center, where water is removed.
Once the water is separated from the juice to create concentrated juice, it is canned and delivered to warehouses. Subsequently, the canned juice is sent back to the factory, where it is mixed with water before being packaged. Finally, the packaged juice is distributed to shops.
