The diagram illustrates the process of recycling organic waste in the production of garden fertilizer.
It is clear that there are five stages in the process of producing compost, beginning with creating ventilation holes in a plastic container and ending with using organic fertilizer in the garden.
At the first stage of the process, four ventilation holes are created on the body of a plastic container, which is 2 cubic meters in volume, in order to allow air to flow in and out. Next, organic waste is to be added to the container, with food at the bottom, grass in the middle, and newspaper on top. Each layer of waste is 15 centimeters in thickness. After that, nitrogen and water, if the weather is hot, are added to the waste to create a mixture. Then, the container, which contains the mixture of organic waste, needs to be stored for 6 months. During this process, this waste mixture decomposes, and the heat vapor released from the mixture escapes through the air vents. After 6 months, the fertilizer is finally produced and used for gardening.
