The diagram shows the process of making ceramic pots.
Overall, there are a number of stages in this process, starting with raw materials and ending with finished pots. The main steps include preparing the clay, shaping it, drying it, heating it and adding colour.
First, raw materials are taken from the ground and transported by truck to a factory. The materials are then crushed into smaller pieces. After that, they are mixed with water in a large container to produce clay. The clay is poured into moulds to form the shape of the pots.
Next, the moulds are left for 4 to 6 hours so that the clay can dry. When this stage is completed, the different parts are put together to make clay pots. These pots are then heated in an oven at a temperature of 1,000 degrees Celsius. After being heated, the pots are coloured by hand. They are then heated once again in a process called colour firing. Finally, the ceramic pots are completed and become ready for use.
