The diagram illustrates the process of producing ceramic pots, which involves eleven main steps. It commences with the collection of raw materials, followed by treatment through drying and coloring processes, and culminates in the creation of finished pots.
The process begins with the excavation and collection of raw materials, in the form of soil containing clay, using excavators. The materials are then transported to factories for various processing steps. Subsequently, the mixture undergoes two stages of crushing. The first stage makes smooth out large grains and the second stage refining the material further.
The resulting mixture is then blended with other materials and added by water before being piped into molds to be shaped. The wet pots then go trough the drying process. After drying for 4 to 6 hours, the mixture is placed in assembled clay pots to take shape. These clay pots are then fired in ovens at 1000 degrees Celsius, a process that solidifies the pot’s shape.
The next step involves coloring the solid clay pots in buckets, followed by a color firing process to ensure the paint adheres well. Finally, the finished colored clay pots are ready for use.
