The diagram given below provides clear information about the necessary steps to follow to make a simple ice cream recipe at home. It is clearly divided into six main steps, using visuals to help understand the process itself.
To begin with, the first step is the preparation of the ingridients, which consists in mixing the components all together, so that with those well mixed we can directly jump into the second step of the process: the pasteurisation. This step, for what we can see through the picture, consists in boiling the lactose ingridients, so that they are ready for human consumption.
After having the ice cream base ready, it moves on to the long term steps. Those being ageing and freezing. When that is ready it is time for the personalization of the final product. Here is when we can improvize, and add the flavours and topings that we prefer. This step in the diagram is called adding extras. Finally it is time for hardening, and after a while, the ice cream is going to be ready to be eaten.
Thanks to the diagram, we can agree on how easy is to make homemade ice cream. Just following those simple steps and being enthusiastic about it, we can get great results and enjoy some nice cold snack.
