The two given maps demonstrate the alterations that occurred in the village from 1995 to the present day.
Overall, over the period, the area witnessed considerable modernization. The most prominent addition was the health facilities built on the land once occupied by nature. Moreover, the coastal space underwent redevelopment to assist current residential needs.
In 1995, the northeastern part of the village was occupied by farmland and a forest park, which were replaced by a large golf park and two tennis courts. While the housing area did not see great changes, except for a few additional homes and the extension of the road leading to the west side.
The fishing port in the sea area was demolished; consequently, the fish market ceased to exist, and four apartment buildings were built instead. Another significant change is that five shops located on the opposite side of the road were transformed into restaurants. While the hotel and cafe south of the sports facilities remained untouched, a parking spot was constructed for hotel guests.
