The two maps describe what changes took place in Shakefield city between 1995 and now.
Overall, the city has modernized and urbanized over the given period, but one negative side is that it has become less green. It is also notable that Shakefield now offers more residential area compared to its look in 1995.
If we look at closely at the maps, we can see that there is a coffee in the middle of the map. In front of the coffee has hotel, this hotel was changed a big hotel. The housing in the north-western part of the map were expended. Sports houses located near the coffee were later transformed into apartments. The public park in the top of the map was removed and holidays homes had been built in this area. Next, the car park was developed in the east of the map. Farmland located in the north-eastern part of the map was later converted into golf course and tennis course.
Regarding the southernmost of the city. The fish markets in the west of the map were demolished and were developed apartments. The morning fish boat in the south-western part of the map was removed. The yachts appeared in the sea located in the south-eastern part of the map.
