The diagram of two maps illustrates the advancement of assford town from 1965 until the recent day. Overall, the area has redeveloped from natural landscape to urbanize environment with new roads and car park. Additionally, all the natural scenery of the Assford area has remained untouch in place.
Commencing the south-western of the map, the ferry which were the main transportation in 1965 has replace by a foot bridge for pedestrians across the river. Moreover, the road which cul-de-sac were the river has been replaced by a new road bridge moved to the town. Concurrently, on the north-western the trees has been demolished for a car park area beside the river.
Turning to the north-eastern the residential area of Assford town has been expanded to different apartment and houses, also an immense car park has been opened for other smaller resident area. Furthermore, on the nort- east a new residental has been rebuilt
