The diagram depicts the life cycle of honey bees from honey bee’s eggs to mature honey bees.
Overall, the life cycle of honey bees consists of 4 main steps, which begins with honey bee’s eggs and the complete life cycle lasts about 34-36 days, when they become mature honey bees.
Initially, the life cycle of honey bees begin life as 1 or 2 eggs, which are laid by female bees. Later on, these eggs will move on to the hatching process and become the nymph after 9 to 10 days. After this step is complete, they start to grow gradually in size and go through three stages of moultings in total before reaching maturity. This process takes place sequentially from 5 days to 7 days and finally finishes in 9 days after hatching eggs.
The step after this, young adult bees are formed after approximately 30-31 days from the start of the life cycle of honey bees. These young adult bees grow to maturity and make it to the adult during 4 days. Finally, the life cycle of honey bees starts again when female bees lay eggs.
