The two maps illustrate the current layout and the planned development in the biomedical campus of a particular university.
Overall, the campus will undergo significant transformations, such as the addition of the bio-imaging area and the car park of staffs. Additionally, trees will be removed to the development of new facilities like the gene-tics room 1 and the biochemistry zones, which dramatically altering the layout.
According to the current layout, it is divided into three parts of this campus. To the south, the Walkway street is located between a biotech and a biochemistry rooms. On the right-hand side, the campus has a small lab room and a gene-tics area, whereas there are another lab room and trees on the opposite side. In the northern part of the map, there is a carpark in a green space with some trees.
Regarding the planned campus, the gene-tics room will be divided into two rooms, locating to the north and the eastern boundary. The removal of trees to the north will be allowed for the development of the bio-imaging room. On the both sides of the Walkway street, the biotech zone and the biochemistry will be expanded in their sizes. A new car park of the staffs will be added nearly the roads. Despite numerous changes, the two lab rooms and the carpark remained unchanged with its positions and functions.
