The flow chart illustrates the procedure of manufacturing and recycling paper.
Overall, there are two main stages, including new paper production and recycling. The first stage starts with collecting trunks and ends with producing rolling paper, while the other stage is a cycle of creating newspapers and reusing them.
Focusing on the protocol of paper manufacturing, first, a number of trees are cut down and trimmed. Then, the bark of these trunks is removed through a specialized machine and left in a drum. Afterwards, the wood experiences a chipping process in which it is chopped into smaller pieces by a chipper. The next step is pulping, when the refiner blends wood chippings into pulp, which is pressed to produce rolling paper.
Rolling papers from the previous stage are ingredients to print newspapers. After being consumed, these are collected in a large quantity. When used newspapers have their ink eradicated, they are repulped into a mixture and continue to be pressed, which manufactures recycled paper.
