The diagram depicts the steps involved in producing olive oil. Overall, the process includes eight steps beginning with collecting the olives and concluding with transporting to retail outlets.
At the first stage of the process, the olives are harvested by farmers with a long rake. Next, most of them are fermented in a ripening vat for about two to three days. Continuing to the next stage, the olives are washed in cool water on production line in order to erase dusts in fruits before being crushed consistently by three big hammers. As a result, it purified olive paste from olive stones which are removed to a separate container.
Once the paste is delivered to a hydraulic presses, the olive paste is pressed and filtered with a view to producing pure oil. After that, the mixed oil is span in a two-pipe centrifuge machine separating water from olive oil. Finally, all of them will be bottled and shipped to retailers as soon as possible in order to maintain the pure taste of the olive oil.
