The image illustrates the process that need to be taken to grow and make products from pineapple. Overall, the entire process comprises two main stages: First, pineapples are grown under suitable sunlight until they become large and condition for harvesting . followed by washing and sorting, and finally processing or exporting the fruits depending on their size.
Initially, the pineapples are planted and grown under the sunlight at suitable temperature of about 28 to 30 degrees. In addition, they are distanced at least 26 cm in order to have some exposure to the sunlight. After seven months, chemicals are applied to support their development and 5 months later, they are expected to reach a size of about 30cm and weighs approximately 2 kg
Once matured, we are harvested and then the pineapple are washed with water. After that they are classified into three types based on their size. The smallest ones are peeled and processed into juice by using extractors. The Medium-sized fruits are also treated in the same way for canning, while The largest pineapples with higher economic value are washed, coated with wax before packaging, after that, they are exported in other countries.
