The diagram illustrates the whole process of how the chocolate is made.
Overall, the process has eight stages, begginig with harvesting cocoa pods and ends with formation of chocolate. The beans are processed and refined before becoming ready for consumption.
First, ripe cocoa pods are harvesed from cacao trees and then split open to remove the beans. These beans are then left out to dry in the sun. Once dried, they are packed and transported to a factory by a truck. In the factory they are rosted at a high temperature.
After roasting, the outer shells are removed and the inner beans are crushed into small pieces. These crushed beans are then pressed to produce a tick liquid known as chocolate liquor. The liquid is further processed and refiend to imrove its texture.
In the final stage, the processed chocolate is poured into moulds and cooled, forming solid bars ready for distribution and consumption.
