The diagram presents the procedure of making raisins from grapes
The production of raisins consists of seven stages, beginning with harvested fresh grapes, before being distributed to several places.
The process begins when grapes are harvested , where fresh grapes are picked and spread under the sun to dry for about two to three weeks. Once dried, they are transported to a processing facility for further treatment. At the raisin processing plant, the raisins go through a cleaning process to remove unwanted materials such as stems, leaves, and debris. After cleaning, the raisins are thoroughly washed to ensure they are safe for consumption. Then, they are sorted into different categories based on size, where each size has its own purpose.
Finally, the processed raisins are packaged and distributed to different destinations. They are sold in grocery stores for direct consumer purchases, supplied to commercial bakeries for food production, and exported to other countries.
