The illustration presents information about the aluminum drinks cans recycling process.
In summary, the whole process takes six months and consists of ten different steps.
First of all, the waste is collected and deposited in a recycling plant. After that, the waste is sprayed with water and crushed. When it is crushed enough, the waste is ready for processing and cleansing with chemicals. The next step is that, when the waste has been treated, it needs to be heated, and the resulting material is put into a mold for casting. After being placed into the mold for casting, the material is weighed and then rolled. Finally, the rolled material is transferred into new cans.
