The diagrams illustrate the procedures and tools involved in the process of making cement and the way it’s then used to produce concrete.
In general, limestone and clay were the two main items for producing cement, which will be followed with four stages before resulting as a cement. The cement then will become concrete with another three added materials. The cement production uses more steps and tools, while the cement production requires only a mixer but with more materials.
In the first step, both the limestone and clay will be crushed together in the crusher. It will result in a powder form where the powder will be put inside the mixer before heading to the rotating heater. The heated form will be put on the grinder and turned out as cement.
Going to the concrete-making, the cement must be mixed with three more requirements. One of which is gravel in the form of small stones, that makes up to 50% of the ingredients. The gravel and cement must be mixed with 25% of sand and 10% of water. All these materials will be poured into a concrete mixer that eventually will combine and result in a concrete form.
