The picture depicts the water cycle with various stages.
Overall, the cycle consists of three main phases, starting with the evaporation of water from the ocean combined with the transpiration of water from plants, followed by the process of making clouds and rains, and ending with the infiltration of groundwater to the oceans again.
Initially, the process begins with the evaporation of water from the ocean, along with adequate heat from the sun. At the same time, the transpiration process appears in trees, where water is released into the atmosphere from their leaves. Subsequently, when water vapor is accumulated enough, the condensation step takes place immediately in order to form clouds. Since clouds are heavy, precipitation occurs, leading to rains, snow, etc.
In the next stage, water from precipitation procedures flows into other bodies of water, such as lakes, rivers,… After that, the amount of water in these places is percolated through the ground, leading to the appearance of groundwater flow. Eventually, this flow brings saltwater back to the ocean, completing the cycle.
