The diagrams illustrate the current layout of an office building and the proposed plan for its future development.
Overall, the building is expected to undergo significant restructuring, with most individual offices replaced by an open-plan working space and several new facilities added, including a meeting room and a coffee area.
At present, the office consists mainly of small separate rooms arranged around a central corridor. The top section contains a kitchen, a canteen and a stock room, while three offices are located on the left-hand side. On the right, there are two offices and a toilet, and at the bottom, a reception area is positioned between two additional offices.
In the future plan, most of these individual rooms are removed. The central and left areas will become a large open workspace, replacing the three offices and part of the corridor. The kitchen and stock room will remain in the same locations but the canteen will be removed. A new coffee area will be added to the right of the kitchen. On the right-hand side, the existing toilet will stay, while the adjacent rooms will be redesigned as a meeting room. The reception area will also stay where it is, but the two offices beside it will be replaced with an extension of the open workspace.
