The given picture illustrates the way in which the layout of an office building will change for renovation purposes in the future.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some current features will be still there, whereas others such as the canteen will disappear. Additionally, the place will undergo dramatic transformations in terms of facilities such as removing grass areas and reorganising rooms.
Regarding its present layout, starting from an entrance on the right-hand southern side, there is a reception area right next to it. A row of four offices is adjacent to the left of the reception, while in front of it is a private part of the food facilities, including a kitchen, a canteen, and a room for stock reserving. A restroom is located in the northeast corner, and finally, two grass areas occupy the east and west sides of the building.
As far as the proposed design is concerned, the reception area will be expanded and its location is planned to be sandwiched between two wider offices that originate from the four previous narrow offices. The cooking area and eating place are going to be demolished to pave the way for two new offices, while the stock room will be reduced in size, but still at the same position. The WC room is due to be relocated to the northeastern corner, and a meeting room is expected to take over the left-handed green space. The left one, moreover, is planned to become an area for outdoor seating.
