The provided diagram illustrates how one bottle of grape wine is made.
Overall, it is a linear process comprising eight distinct stages which begins with preparing 400 ripe grapes and culminates in the delivery of grape wine to supermarkets. During these stages, the waste from juicing, pressing, and filtering is sent to compost.
In the initial stages, grapes are collected and transported to a juicer to produce grape juice, 400 ripe grapes can only produce 3000ml of juice, which is fermented for 2 weeks while the waste is taken to compost to make organic fertilizer.
After half of a month, that fermented liquid is going to be pressed and filtered before being left in barrels in order to have the flavour. Additionally, the waste from the pressing and filtering process are collected and composted afterward. The wine in barrels will be poured into bottles which can contain 750ml of wine, then those bottles are transported to the supermarket eventually.
