The process chart illustrates the production of olive oil.
Overall, the process consists of seven main stages, starting with the picking of olives from trees and ending with the sale and storage of the final product.
The process of manufacturing olive oil commences with picking olive from trees. Once picking stage is complete, harvested olive is rinsed with cold water with the assistance of a special machinery. The subsequent stages involve smashing olive into either olive paste or olive stones before sorting these stones into bags with holes.
Following these four stages, the bags are pressed in high pressure. Upon the completion of pressing stage, they are separated into oil and water. The final step consists of delivering the final product to either a storage or a store.
