To begin,there is downward movement in the electric current. Firstly,it passed through the broken circuit and later moved on to the metal switch contacts,then,it descended to the metal ring which is connected to the first battery. After that,the first battery received power and became charged and ready to transfer current upward.
Furthermore,there is a supply of power via the connections between the two batteries,that is,the positive and negative points,next, the flow goes to the bulb where it finally produce light. The on and off botton controls the process,when the torch is switched on,the circuit linking the metal switch contacts allows flow of electricity. In contrast,pushing the button to the office position breaks the circuit resulting in the turning off the flashlight.
