The process by which how chocolate is produced can be outlined in nine consecutive stages. Overall, the process starts with harvesting ripe red pods that grow cacao trees and, ends with the creation of complete bar chocolates.
The first step in making chocolate is to extract white cocoa beans from ripe red pods that grow cacao trees. The white cacaos beans are then fermented for a particular period ranging from 2 to 10 days before being sun-dried and roasting in 120-150 degrees Celsius.
Subsequent to these, the outer shell of beans crushed with special equipments. Secondly, it goes through the procedure of conching where inner part of beans pressed to produce liquid. The resulting mixture is then tempered and molded to become complete chocolate bars.
