The system comprises of five main components and predominantly performs overground. There are two main stages of operations: collecting solar energy to pump water and filtering it.
In terms of design, the system consist of solar panels, a solar controller with a capacity ranging from 150 to 300W, a submersible pump installed in a well about 10 to 50 meters deep, connected to a 3 stage water filter, and lastly a water container.
During operation, sunlight is first converted into energy through solar panels.Here, solar controller readjust the voltage and distribute currents to the underground pump, where water is led through the 3 stage filter to ensure safety. By then, water is stored in the fluid tank, and can be drinkable.
