Overall, six main stages are shown in the diagram, beginning with the painting the cardboard box to black and ending with the heating the pot via direct sunlight.
At the beginning of the process, the cardboard box is painted black in order to absorb much light from the Sun. Next, vegetables are placed inside the pot. Having been placed, the pot can be ready to put at the inside bottom of the box. Newspaper, grass, and sawdust may be used to cover the bottom.
In the next stage, the top of the cardboard box is covered with foil and a glass lid is placed on top, preventing extra heat loss. After placing the glass lid, the entire setup is put under direct sunlight with a minimum temperature of 82 Celsius. As the black color absorbs much sunlight and transforms it into heat, the cardboard cooks the food.
