The diagram illustrates the process of cooking food using a solar box oven.
It is clear that the process of cooking food consists of six stages which starts with painting the cardboard and ends with cooking the food.
At the beginning of the food cooking process, a cardboard box is painted with black colour for absorbing solar energy to heat food effectively. After that, a pot containing vegetables is prepared. This pot is then placed inside the black cardboard box. At the following stage, the small box is insterted into a larger box, the bottom of which is insulated with newspaper, grass or sawdust.
For the remaining stages, the larger box is then covered with foil and a glass lid is placed on top to allow sunlight to enter while trapping the heat. Finally, the entire setup is kept under direct sunlight at a temperature of at least 82 degree celcius, where the black surface absorbs sunlight and converts it into heat, cooking the food inside.
