The flowchart illustrates the process of making sugar from sugarcane growing adequate number of canes.
Overall, the process includes seven stages, beginning with planting canes and ending with drying and cooling.
First of all, cane plants are cultivated and then after one year, cane plants are harvested by farmers. Cane is also harvested manually. After that, canes are crushed in a machine, in order to extract juice.
Then, following this, with the help of limestone filter, the juice is purified.
In addition, the juice is heated in the evaporator to convert into a thick syrup. Sugar crystals are separated from the syrup. After drying, these sugar crystals are kept in storage for the cooling change process and finally sugar is ready to use.
