The diagram shows the production of sugar, involving different stages.
From an overall perspective, the diagram consists of seven different stages. It begins with growing sugar canes during 12-18 months, and continues with crushing sugar canes for making juice. The process ends with drying and cooling semi-ready sugar.
The process begins with growing sugar canes in water areas during 12-18 months. Next, harvesting process involves both human interaction and the help of a combine harvester. The sugar canes are harvested by a combine harvester, or harvested by hand. After being harvested, sugar canes are crushed by a special machine for making juice.
At the next stage, the juice is sent to the limestone filter to remove impurities inside it. After being purified, the juice is heated by an evaporator, and becomes syrup. Afterwards, the syrup is sent to the centrifuge to separate sugar crystals from syrup. Consequently, semi-ready sugar is dried and cooled.
