Overall, the process begins with planting sugar cane and ends with cystals of sugar.
The first stage is planting sugar cane, which require around 12 to 18 months to fully mature. Once mature, it can be harvested by farmers in two different ways, either using a tractor machine to collect the sugar cane or cutting it manually with sharp tools. Following that, the harvested sugar cane is put into a crusher machine to transform them into juice. Afterwards, the extracted juice is purified through a limestone filter.
In addition, the juice is heated in the evaporator to turn it into a thick syrup. Subsequently, the sugar crystals are separated from the liquid by using a centrifuge machine. At the final stage, the sugar crystals are kept in a storage for the drying and cooling process before they are ready for use further processing.
