Generally speaking, white tea type undergo three steps to form the result, while others take more than three steps.
As is illustrated in the diagram, leaf growth happens in the first stage, where it grow accordingly with suitable temperature. After, the employees pluck it from each branches and is collected to a store room where it undergo withering procedure. The withered component and the open drying makes white tea.
As can be seen from the diagram, the withered product undergo steaming, rolling as well as open drying to form green tea. The slight fermentation with last process create olong tea, while the full fermentation, rolling and along using crushing make large leaf black tea. The withered leaves with process like crushing, full fermentation and open drying constitute the small leaf black tea.
