The illustrations demonstrate the current layout of Rampart street and the proposed alterations for 2035.
Overall, Rampart is planned to experience a host of significant changes, the most prominent of which will be a replacement of the road for vehicles to a pedestrian zone, and the additions of gastronomic facilities.
Presently, Rampart’s old castle, which is located in the north, is secluded by the fence that will be removed in 2035. Furthermore, the artificial lake will be created near the renovated Castle, encircled by trees. To the south of the Castle, the list of historical buildings, such as Museum of Architecture and the theatre, are built-up, between which there are apartment blocks with houses are constructed. Although, those ones will remain their locations in 2035, the construction site in the south-east will be converted into the florist’s area. The apartment house, in the west of florist’s, will stay in its current position. Additionally, while the food store, embassy and the hotel will remain in 2035, Rampart will undergo development, featuring new spots like a restaurant, gift shop and an exhibition centre with an attached open-air space.
The prominent alteration that the town will witness in 2035 will be the reorganisation of the traffic, currently purposed for cars, to a pedestrian zone with bikeway provided.
