The maps illustrate the current layout of the Biology School in a specific university and the proposed modifications for the future.
Overall, it is clear that the campus is expected to undergo significant developments, with the introduction of new facilities and the relocation or renaming of existing structures, while the main educational and recreational areas will be modified to support these changes.
In the north of the campus, a substantial number of trees are projected to be cleared to make space for a new Lab and an Office, which will be constructed just above the Central Library. Meanwhile, the Indoor Sports Hall in the north-east corner will be left unchanged. Directly below this hall, the Drama Center is planned to be replaced by a Music Center. Additionally, the trees located in the south-west area will be completely removed so that a new Car Park for staffs can be built in that corner.
Regarding the central and southern parts of the site, the Central Library will be preserved in its original position. To the south of this library, the Teaching Building and the Cafe are scheduled to remain in the same locations. However, the Lecture Room in the south-east will be expanded to include an additional room right beneath it. Finally, the IT Central is going to be relocated slightly to the west, situated directly below the Cafe instead of its current position.
