The maps show how a particular area has changed since 1995. Overall, the area has undergone a number of dramatic changes, most notable of which are the development of the road system and the construction of more housing areas.
The main river running from north to south and separating the area into two sections remain intact. In 1995, There were two roads running from both sides of the main river but they were not connected; therefore, a ferry had to be used to reach either side. At present, a foot bridge has been constructed to walk past the river while the two roads, which are now a road bridge, have joined and led to a city westwards.
Regarding the right side of the river, in 1995, only a few houses were situated in the town called Ashford at the northeast corner of the map there. However, at the moment, in Ashford near the river but as for now, more houses, apartments and residential facilities have been erected. Ashford together with a few houses, however, have has been relocated to the top right corner of the map to make way for a new route leading from the road bridge to a car park. Concerning the left side, there is now a large car park built beside the river, at the expense of the green space in the past.
