In this process diagram we shall dive deeper into the cloning process of sheep embryos. Our goal is to create a clone of a sheep with the help of another sheep.
First, we pick a female sheep and label it as “A” , then we take the body cell from it and have it’s DNA extracted.
Second, we then pick another female sheep and label it as “B”, instead of harvesting another body cell, we will take the egg cell for the fusing process, as another DNA cell would be redundant. We need to remove the nucleus of the egg cell for the fusion.
Afterwards, we proceed to combine the nucleus and the DNA from both sheeps, we can store the fused cell into a special container and wait for it to develop into an embryo, which we will later infuse to the uterus of a foster mother.
Finally, after several months of waiting period, we will welcome a clone of sheep A into this world. This cloning process is completely safe and ethical, it also did not cause an harm to the sheeps.
