The given diagram illustrates the information about two types of hydroelectric power.
Overall, there is two way of hydroelectric power, one is traditional and another one is improved from that. There are five stages for hydroelectric power and 3 stages for traditional hydroelectric plant. However, the traditional hydroelectric method use full river flow for produce electricity.
In hydroelectric power, the river water flow in to two way, one is flow through river and one is diverted from the river into a new channel to the turbine blades. The water, which flow turns the turbine blades and the turbines generators turns by help of turbine blade. The generators supply electricity to transmission lines using power supply box, and the electricity is ready for supply to consumer. End of the stages, the water which turns the turbine, this water flows back into the river.
In traditional method, the water enter through the intake and go direct to the turbine and turns generator for produce electricity. After generate electricity, that direct supply to transmission line for consumers and the whole water also flow back to the river.
