The diagram shows us a basic principle of a hydroelectric dam. It shows us how electricity is created.

Ist of all a large amount of water is stored in a reservoir. Then, the water starts flowing through a Water intake Tunnel via a penstock towards the turbine. The turbine starts spinning because of the water pressure. Due to the spinning of the Turbine it wwill generate electricity, the electricity passes through the wires as they are are connected with the generator, and the electricity flows towards the power house. the power house stores the electricity and then passes it towards our homes, offices, and hospitals.

It is a very interesting process of a hydroelectric dam that shows how to generate electricity. as when the water flows through the tunnel and spins the Turbine then the water flows out Through the exit tunnel towards the river, then it will be recycled. The process of the electricity production is going again and again for the electricity production.
