The diagram gives a visual representation of ethanol production.
From an overall perspective, it can be easily seen that the process is divided into two stages: the first one involves the collection of raw materials and getting cellulose, while the second one deals with making ethanol to provide transport with it.
To begin with, the combination of sunlight and carbon dioxide gives plants and trees energy to grow. At the next step, leafy greens are harvested and transported to the place where they are pre-processed in special equipment. As a result, cellulose is obtained and undergoes processing in a laboratory.
Regarding the next phase, it is initiated by the conversion of cellulose into sugars. It is followed by adding microbes to get the final product. Finally, ethanol is used as fuel for different kinds of transport, from cars to trucks and planes. These vehicles emit it as carbon dioxide, which starts the process again.
